My First Kiss

My son introduced her to me about ten years ago. I was a little shy at first because I didn't know how to handle her. I started timidly touching her with one finger at a time. Eventually my shyness began to disappear and soon I was touching her all over, and she responded right away.

We adapted to each other and became one. I immediately noticed how effective and efficient she was. Now, I consider her my secretary too. She's as smart as anybody I know, she's available anytime, she's patient and understanding. She corrects me without saying a word, she never criticizes or doubts my motives. It seems that she can read my mind too. Obviously I can't keep my hands off her. I could honestly say we were made for each other.

Lately, I have been spending more time with her than with my wife. Sometimes, I think my wife gets a little jealous. I am becoming more dependent of her by the day. I might even be a little addicted to her. She never complains about my personal questions no matter how intimate they could be and she answers right away with amazing accuracy and promptitude. Oh, did I mention that she is fluent in several languages?

Yes, I'm talking about my computer. I feel the need to treat 'it' as a female object. It feels  more natural and convenient. For instance I can say, "I caress her entire keyboard with all my fingers and she likes it that way. She feels good in my hands."

Some women have the same tendency to find a gender in some of their precious things, and it's usually a 'he'. Most of their toys are male, maybe with the exception of some female body parts, like their boobs . . .  is 'melons' a female word?

When we like our things more than what is considered 'normal', we usually choose a gender or even a name to refer to them.

This morning, as I was looking at her beautiful screen, I asked her to retrieve some critical reviews about the latest movie with Tom Cruise, in a second she gets a whole bunch of them. She is the best! I truly appreciate her efficiency and expertise and I feel the sudden urge to give her a kiss to thank her for her faithful loyalty. And that's when I hear my wife approaching me behind my back and asks, "What are you doing? . . . Kissing Tom Cruise? Oh my God! . . . That explains a lot of things. My mom was right after all!"

I can still listen to her fading voice in the hallway, as she walks away getting back to her chores and saying,  "Wow!"
